Xian-jun and me became proud owners of the new 5-room flat at Tampines Premier on 9 Jan 2009!!! What a memorable day!!!
Before getting the keys, we were rather apprehensive about the house as there were quite a bit of negative comments from other neighbours who had collected the keys earlier. Sooooo.....we were contemplating bringing pineapples, rice, salt or engaging a feng shui master etc etc for the opening of the flat, but in the end we decided not to be too "ban tang".
Our worries were put to rest when we opened the main door!! The view of the swimming pool and faint outline of the CBD area from the balcony 'wow'ed me. Apart from that, there were only some minor defects here and there, which I can live with, but which Xian-Jun decided to complain about simply becoz he wanted to be a difficult customer. haha....
Anyway, we are very very excited about the coming months, which I expect to be filled with reno and wedding stuff (on top of my work....stresss.....sweat...). Look out for more pics on the transformation of our flat. Headache about concept of house nw......any suggestions??
