Going on 28....

Somehow birthday didn't seem so important anymore this year....Is it because I am too old already and am starting to be in denial? Certainly hope nt...hahaha

All in all, last year had been a very volatile year. I must say that being an employee of a Statutory Board has its perks as I can say that I am one of the lucky few not to be overly affected by the economy crisis, despite suffering financially in other aspects. Nonetheless, there is a need to tighten belts with all the expenditures coming in the later part of the year. Exciting times ahead...but I guess I gotta learn how to give and take and to manage my expectations. While all these are part of growing up, I sometimes still lament why I couldn't find a "richer penguin"...hahahah....

Perhaps it is a good time to make some more new year resolutions? (whether or not I keep to it is another thing, but it's nice to work towards some goals....)

1) More catching up with friends...friends are really impt to me. As much as I would love to spend times with friends, it is sometimes hard to balance life between work family self and friends. So this year, I'll try to make more effort. Especially wanna thank a bunch of great colleagues and friends who made life so much more fun and tolerable at work. Guys, I love the "Hello Kitty" helmet...really appreciate the efforts put in manz! wink...

2) Improve on golf (got 2 new toys as present this bdae......def hope to improve my technique in 2009)

3) Do more free lance photography, if possible, and master photoshop (i've been told my postprocessing is terrible and sux big time...)

4) More time for myself to rest and exercise

5) More vacations!! Hope to take wedding photo overseas manz....xian-jun, will you indulge in me? =p
